You could give a baby their very first gift this season.

My heart always hurts as I read the story of pregnant Mary traveling from inn to inn and being told there was no room. Her experience echoes millions of others, especially anyone feeling unsupported, unwanted, or unloved. This season, many focus on giving gifts, but forget one of the most important gifts that anyone can receive- the gift of life. By supporting mothers and babies at risk for abortion, we send the message to them that there will always be room in the inn for them.
Being pro-life is more than just having an opinion. Being pro-life means being proactive. Pro-life Utah is fighting daily to help the babies and mothers crying out in fear to receive the support and love that they need. If you don’t have the ability to reach out personally to help at-risk mothers and babies in your community, you can make room in our inn by supporting Pro-Life Utah financially.
Why Pro-Life Utah?
I choose to support Pro-life Utah because of their work to ensure that there is always room in the inn. When you donate to Pro-Life Utah, you support the Life Grant Program, the traveling pregnancy clinic, abortion healing assistance, and legislative work that help us do all we can to make sure that babies aren’t turned away at the door.
Life Grant Program
A flagship project supported by your donations is the Life Grant Program. Life grants help support women who are overwhelmed or struggling due to an unplanned pregnancy. Resources provided for women include housing support, baby supplies, and help to continue the mother’s formal education. Unfortunately, Pro-Life Utah is getting fewer donations while trying to support more mothers than ever before. This critical support to help women choose life is reliant upon the funding of donations from people just like you.
Mobile Clinic
The mobile clinic supported by Pro-Life Utah offers mothers pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and options counseling. Set up inside a van, we can go right to at-risk mothers and provide lifesaving resources that would be otherwise inaccessible. Information is empowering for women in difficult situations. Sometimes, all it takes is seeing a little heartbeat on a screen for a mother to make the brave choice to choose life. Your kind donations give moms the information they need to make compassionate decisions for their families.
Abortion Healing Assistance
Abortion doesn’t just kill a baby- it can also seriously harm a mother. Every woman experiences it differently, but for many, abortion can lead to stress, anxiety, depression, or even post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from their experience. Negative emotions regarding their abortions increase over time, and previous history of depression increases a woman’s chance of having serious mental health complications from an abortion (Major et al., 2000). Pro-Life Utah provides support groups and in-person healing sessions to help women move through the trauma of a previous abortion.
Please consider donating to Pro-Life Utah this season.
Whether as part of your Christmas giving spirit or as a gift on someone else’s behalf, your donations give babies the first and one of the most important gifts they could ever receive. No baby and no mom deserve to be turned away at our society’s door. As it is said, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Although I can’t go back in time and open the door for Mary, I can open my heart, and yes, sometimes, my pocketbook, to give the gift of life to those that society truly thinks are the least of all. There will always be room in my inn.
We are committed to making sure that every penny of your donation is spent wisely, and in ways that make a difference in Utah. Please click here to make your donation. Thank you so much for your support!
